Q.

Is ok to breastfeed in night? will it impact the teeth? if yes what is the alternative if baby feels hungry at night.

A. Hi. yes prolonged or night time breastfeeding or bottle feeding leads to dental caries. give plain water after feed. maintain good oral hygiene by brushing twice daily..stop feeding habit by 18 months of age

A. It's OK to think about night weaning for healthy breastfed children from 12 months of age. At this age, most children are getting enough food during the day for their growth and development. But before 12 months, night weaning breastfed babies can reduce your milk supply.
