ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist5 years agoA. apply only if prescribed it recvers at 6 to 12 months. just oil it if its dry. avoid excess shampoo. if its patchy ,oily, wash with mild shampoo. use soft bristled comb to remove the flakes. dont worry, its harmless. consult doctor if it spreads, or its itching excessively.
