is it safe to use vicks baby rub for a 7 months baby during cough and cold

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist5 years agoA. hi j avoid cold climate, cold winds. give plenty of feeds , adequate rest to the baby. indirect steam , hot water bath will also help. consult your paediatrician if baby is feeding less, excessively drowsy or if cold increases. post illness babies might be cranky , irritable. nose block congestion also result in loss of appetite, difficult sucking. try different head up feeding position. feed by spoon otherwise. Maintain hygiene. if bottle feeding, maintain sterility as its a common source of infections.

I was just asking besides this I can use vicks baby rub or not... and my one more consultant is do vicks baby rub is safe for baby's skin?
