is it safe to use Vick's baby rub on sole of feet on a 3 weeks old child?

ExpertDr. Hemendra GuptaPaediatrician7 years agoA. I would not suggest you to use this product as well as many similar products for your child as these are hydrocarbons and may be harmful to your child so better to avoid using these types of products. all the very best

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. Hello, yes you can use baby Vicks vapo rub.. Rub Vicks Vaporub to bottom of your baby’s feet and chest at night, cover her feet with cotton socks. Your baby will get instant relief .Roast 2–3 big cloves of garlic & few pinches of Ajwain on tawa for just one minute. You will be able to smell powerful fumes. Let the mixture cool down and keep near your child. The smell of mixture will heal the cold & cough of your child.

ANAMIKA CHATTERJEEMom of a 10 yr 4 m old boy7 years agoA. i also suggest not to use this type of baby rub.it is harmful for baby.i also used for my 2 years 6 months baby.his catarrh was stuck to chest.and my son suffered for few days. so dont use this.

Sonam PrasadMom of a 9 yr 7 m old boy7 years agoA. hello dear yes definitely you can use a little amount of Vicks VapoRub apply on baby's chest back on feet or you can try for mustard oil massage also also give exclusively breastfeeding to baby if you baby is less than6 months
