Is it safe for 4 month baby to sleeping on his side ? Frequently he is sleeping on his side.

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician4 months agoA. Hello parents,good evening there is no problem but it can cause flat head so change baby's position frequently while sleeping.It will help. continue with the exclusive breastfeeding as per baby's demand.

Sleeping on the side is not a problem but you have to know this that if the child is going to keep sleeping on one side the head is eventually going to get Flat and it will be permanent then over the period if you continue to sleep in the same posture which is why it’s important to keep changing the position right left back right left back and on as per your comfort but never in one position
