Is it ok to wash baby's clothes in washing machine?

dikshita guptaMom of a 9 yr 2 m old girl8 years agoA. you must have heard from many people that baby clothes should not be washed in washing machine as clothes will become rough and will destroy the quality of clothes or any other reason. first of all hand wash also destroys the quality to some extent. these are only taboos. washing machine has three modes for washing- gentle, normal and strong. use gentle mode.babies clothes donot gets so dirty. so give only 15 minutes gentle wash. trust me nothing will happen to the quality of clothes. another thing is choice of detergent. use ezee. if there is any hard stain like juices etc. then first clean it with hands then put in machine. it's just lil care while washing and get cleaned dry clothes. always iron the clothes in medium heat mode. PrachiMom of a 10 yr 4 m old girl8 years agoA. Yes absolutely OK. They get cleaned better and wear out less. You could add a cap full of dettol or any other antiseptic liquid along with soap.
