Q.
Is it ok if massage lady is removing milk from baby small nipples?? When she presses nipples , few drops of milk comes. Plz advise

ExpertDr. Hemendra GuptaPaediatrician7 years agoA. no absolutely not this is very wrong practice to do this and it must be avoided as this may lead to mastitis and some times it may lead to fibrosis in breast glandular tissue so this practice must be avoided

Dr Sameer awadhiyaFather of a 12 yr 9 m old boy7 years agoA. no you should not allow that lady to express milk from baby breast as there is no need for that and it is painful and may cause infection it is a normal withdrawal reflex of hormones which is there in baby and it will subside by itself so no need to do anything for that
