is it normal to have a sudden spike in temperature after remaining normal throughout the day, even on the third day of antibiotics

A. It could be due to exertion also that sometimes the fever will come suddenly but if it is only coming one time in the day that means the fever is reducing the infection for which you were giving antibiotics that is also reducing so it’s not an issue as of now but still I would recommend you to connect with the doctor once

Q. My daughter was having a temperature of 101 and above, and she was diagnosed of viral fever along with cold and cough. Last 3 days she is on medication. Last 2 days she was fine throughout the day, she had no temperature but at nights around 1am she had a temperature of 102 and so on. Then again after a dosage of paracetamol she was fine and throughout the day she is normal. What could be the reason? kindly guide.
