Is it normal for a 4 month old to have hiccups

A. yes
hiccups in children occur due to gas which is present in the stomach.
during the feeding process child takes air alocng with milk and that air goes inside the stomach which irritates leading to hicccups.
you have to offer feeding as well as do proper burping(for atleast 20 minutes) to decrease this problem and it is a self limiting problem

A. Yes It’s a completely normal thing it has got nothing doing no connection with anything it’s completely safe for a child to have hiccups it’s a part of their normal growth as we have it similarly our kids also have it so nothing to be worried about for this
