Is it necessary to give formula milk besides breastmilk to help the baby gain weight? And what if the baby doesn’t accept formula milk

A. dear that is not true the only and best food for baby is breastmilk nothing should be given to the child other than breast milk till six months are complete not even water Breast milk is most nutritious supports growth is safe and complete food for baby introduction of top foods before 6 months can increase risk of infection and even reduce milk supply.

I have heard a lot about Aptamil Gold formula milk. it's helps for gaining weight it is available in different stage for different age like stage 1 for 0-6 month, stage 2 for 6-12 months and stage 3 for 12-18 months. It doesn't cause gas or colic issues due to the Prebiotics and HMOs in it. You can start giving it with dr advice..
