Is it gripe water good in constipation

Hi.. gripe water will not help in constipation... constipation is common in babies..typically breastfed babies will not poop as often as formula fed babies because their bodies absorb most of the breast milk. going even a week without having a bowl movement is ok. Less than six month formula fed babies go more often, but my 4 month old still only goes about every 3 days.formula-fed child has been a no-go for more than five days, talk to your pediatrician. Gently press and massage the lower left side of his abdomen, do bicycling motion of legs onto and away from his abdomen this may stimulate the muscles to contract and move matter for evacuation.

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 2 m old girl6 years agoA. Gripe water bonison are isn't safe for babies now days. Those days the preparation was good and pure.. Nowdays preparation is not pure and it has alcohol content. Maximum its better to Try to Avoid it.
