Q.

is it correct to burp the baby by making her sit on the lap and pat her back as elders are saying that this may effect her spine and lower portion. I am confused as what needs to be done. pls help.

A. hi yes you can do that way too but for a minute or two . but better to hold baby in upright position leaning on your shoulder and gently massage his back. can give a couple of minutes of tummy time and leg bicycling also helps release gases.

A. hello dear as your baby is newborn so I will suggest you told this kind of position because yes it will affect your baby's find letter on you can rather keep him in elevated position along with your shoulder and that lightly on her back tell the time she burp
