is it compulsory to give calcium supplement to baby

A. Hello mom it is not a compulsion but generally a multivitamin syrup is given in the first year of life and only in certain cases wherein there is deficiency of calcium been seen or a requirement of the body only after thorough examination then only it can be given otherwise daily requirement. Can be Met through diet as well
