Is is good to use pacifier for a baby ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. there is no problem in using pacifier / nipple if cleaned. the problem arises
when it falls down andd goes again inside the oral cavity of the child without proper cleaning and sterilization.
if it is not cleaned and goes in the oral cavity can cause infection and cough and cold and loose motion

it is best to accustom the baby to pacifier use only during sleep times.
It is best to regularly rinse and clean the pacifier. Also, avoid repeated use of the same pacifier. Try replacing it once every few days. Sterilising the pacifier after use and after it was dropped can be the best way to maintain hygiene. Storing in zip locks, when not in use, is also advised
