is hydroxyzine oral solution IP (hicope) syrup causes sleepy in babies

A. Yes it can cause sleepiness give if prescribed if you notice any other symptoms it's better to consult Paediatrician once a medical opinion is necessary for appropriate diagnosis and treatment of any condition

A. hydroxyzyine is an anti histaminic. maybe used for cough and cold. yes it has definitely side effect of causing increased sleepiness. always show to your pediatrician before administering this medicine as will lead to you sleepy child decrease in activity.
