is fontanelle pulsing seen when breastfeeding..? before i used to just feel it when i touch my baby's head but since two days i am able to see it pulsing while feeding.. is it normal

ExpertDr Arti SharmaPaediatrician7 years agoA. Hello and good evening yes its normal for it to pulsate while doing any activity like feeding crying etc.
If baby is active and alert, is not irritable do not worry
Excessive irritability, with pulsating fontanelle may need evaluation
in that case consult paediatrician

s madaanMom of a 9 yr 8 m old girl7 years agoA. it is very natural at this stage that your baby is having fontanelle pulsating which you can even see it because babies have a very soft skin because of which they are highly visible also and as your baby is growing the swelling on the body which is the baby has in the initial months is also decreasing
