flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least 60% in your child.
the first dosage is given at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till completion of 5 years of age.
previously it was an optional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. The first flu shot is given at six months after the birth of the child. Until then, he or she has his/her mother's immunity to shield them from the pathogens. After six months, parents must get their children vaccinated for flu every year until five years of age.
