Q.
Is ear wax normal in 1 month old baby? I saw slightly yellowish discharge just near her ear canal. It was a bit sticky. is it normal ?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. it may nit be wax. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. Earwax buildup in infants is rare. Usually, the ear canal makes the correct amount of earwax it needs. But in some cases, excess earwax buildup can interfere with hearing, or cause pain or discomfort. Your baby may tug on their ear to indicate discomfort.
