Is CT scan cause cancer in future

A. if CT SCAN causes cancer then doctor would've not suggested and head injured babies would've left untreated. how about the cancer patients? they are gone through CT scan when they were infants?. ofcourse risk is there it doesn't mean whoever go for CT scan they will get cancer? 1 scan will not harm your baby, but frequent CT scans may cause some risk.

A. hwllo.. CT scans use X-rays, which produce ionizing radiation. this kind of radiation may damage your DNA and lead to cancer. But the risk is still very small -- your chances of developing a fatal cancer because of a CT scan are about 1 in 2,000. but you may get scan of advised by your doctor
