ExpertDr. Hemendra GuptaPaediatrician7 years agoA. no it's not necessary to sleep your child in cradle. it's a trend in western countries to sleep their child in cradle. it has got certain advantages in a child life.as ir maje them self dependent so they do not need mother for sleep. they are able to self soothe. secondly they also decrease the chances of choking as sleeping of a child with mother some time may lead to choking of child.
