Q.
Is cooked carrot cause constipation in babies? My baby loves carrot. He like carrot with rice.. At night I always give him carrot with rice.. He has tight poop... He start crying when poop. When I give him banana.... Next he feel tight poop... Dr. gave me lactitol syrup for him. 3 or 4 times in week I gave him syrup.. But is it good to give syrup for lo g time... He Al's feels constipated after taking iron syrup... What is solution?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the baby is more than one year of age if you are giving carrots to the baby in fact it will be relieving constipation it is better not to take medicines to relieve constipation give adequate water and all fruits to the baby including carrots
