is castor oil is safe to drink for my infant for constipation?

just give more water, give oatmeal, diluted apple juice, saunf water to prepare formula milk and avoid giving applesauce and grains for a day or two. give fruit and veggie purees.
if baby less than 6 months then just give breastfeed or formula feed. change his formula if that's causing constipation. you can apply a little Vaseline to rectal area with an earbud to ease passing of stool

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children6 years agoA. No. It is not. U should not give anything ti ur infant other than breastmilk until the baby is six months old not even water. So please dont give it. For constipation, its better to get the baby examined by ur pediatrician once. Home remedies are not advisable for such infants.
