Q.

Is burp mandatory ? I always put my baby in burping position after breastfeeding ,but he rarely burps. Is it something to worry about?

A. Dear mum, burping helps in digestion and reduces the chances of vomit. Burping should be done at least until your baby is able to sit on own. Keeping the head and chest at a level higher than stomach helps to reduce the chances of vomit.
