Q.
Is Ascoril LS syrup is not for 16 month old? picture of the medicine attached.. plz answer my query its urgent..

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi parent ur kid 16 m old, if ur child have cough, u can give plain ambroxol drops, after examining the child chest, only then u can use ambroxol ls which contain levosalbutomol which has side effects like increase heart rate

Sir, my sons pediatrician after examining babies chest prescribed me Ascoril- LS syrup. and,as per advise I continued the same ( 5 ml thrice in a day) . But today only I got to know two shocking things that the said medicine is banned and also the syrup is for Elders not for a 16 month old. Sir, Can you please guide me in this? Hope you understand my mental condition. Sorry for long post.
