PayalMom of 2 children6 years agoA. No. it won't affect your breast milk but yes it will give you strength and keep you away from deficiencies to which you are prone after delivery. To increase breast feed you must include galactogogules such as papaya garden cress shatavari with milk khaskhas etc

PallaviMom of a 9 yr 4 m old girl6 years agoA. hello no they are supplements given to moms after delivery...which are important but don't increase lactation....for it to increase. elders say if a nursing mother who has not taken shatavari before or during pregnancy and is unable to give enough milk to her baby, then using a shatavari supplement is highly recommended for her to enhance breast milk supply. This herb is good for the nursing mothers, particularly because it promotes lactation i used to have Dabur Shatavari with milk three times a day. Also Having methi in any form laddoo or sabji works really well along with moong daal have bowls full of it...and apple worked for me really well...
