ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. after 12 etc.See in such cases the child needs specialist care always. So try to follow with the same doctor and do not get anxious with s variety of opinion. Focus on treatment ok.

If it is mostly higher than 5 then doctors do advise you to go ahead With phototherapy five is the safe range that’s what I can tell if it crosses that the doctors do advise for the time to go for phototherapy so that you can just get rid of it quickly because it is too mild a time
