Q.

In how many days does a baby of age 0-6 months stool? Is it ok if the baby does stool regularly ? or Is it ok if baby does once or twice in a week? when do the parent need to see a doctor? what are the signs of caution

A. Thanks for the quick clarification Doctor. What is the way to treat colic pain issue. Is there any way to stop a kid being colic? what are the best treating methods?

A. It is very normal that infants and newborns may not pass stool for more than 10 days also and sometimes the frequency can be around 6d to 7 times per day also. Both the above frequency of stool passage is normal if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid. if the consixstency is not hard then it is not constipation and intermittent crying is due to the colic pain due to gas
