Q.
im 3 months old baby mother.i have insufficient milk supply.i have obese , thyroid,pcod . kindly suggest to get sufficient milk supply.my baby is not willing to take formula milk and she is licking her hand bcoz of poor supply of milk.

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Licking hands necessarily need not indicate hunger in babies. It is a normal phenomena in this age to lick everything. As long as your baby is active and healthy, accepting feeds, passing urine a minimum of 6 to 8 times in a day, gradually gaining weight then nothing to worry about insufficient feeding. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through the day while breastfeeding your baby well. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration.
