If tongue tie is not treated, does it go away on its own? My child has no issues in bf and bottle feeding

A. Tongue tie needs to be operated. It will not go on its own and even if it remains it will not create any problem to the baby, just that some few words baby will not be able to pronounce properly.

A. Tongue-tie can improve on its own by the age of two or three years. Talk with a health professional as there are simple treatment options or no treatment may be required.
