If baby gets hiccups after laughing twice or thrice in a day then is it severe problem

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. it is very normal that whenever the child is having excessive laughing it will irritate the stomach which will leads to hiccups in the child due to irritation of the diaphragm which is very physiological and you can just offer water to the child and no other treatment is required

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom no there is no problem. hiccups are self limiting and will stop on its own. no medicine is required. so no need to worry. air gets trapped while laughing causing hiccups. take care and all the best
