A. Is it febrile seizure? Due to fever? If so, Usually the seizures will subside in five to ten minutes. If it lasts longer you should immediately take the baby to the doctor or call for an ambulance. Notice how the baby behaves during seizure so you can let your pediatrician know when u consult him. If possible record it in ur mobile. After seizures it's natural for the baby to be unconscious or get to sleep for few minutes. Don't panic. Keep the room airy. if baby gets a seizure, lay the baby on a soft bed and ensure the surroundings are safe without any objects which the baby could get hurt during her seizure. Lay the baby on her side, make sure she doesn't have anything in her mouth which can cause a choking hazard, don't feed anything to the baby while she is having seizures.
