Q.

iam a mom of 4.8 yrs old boy. Year back i was pregnant and analyzed as trisomy 21 in double marker test and hence opted for abortion in last aug2020. Now am pregnant for 21 weeks. gone through NIPT test and its all fine this time( screening Negative), but during anamoly scan my doctor found talipes in right leg for baby and told this is 100% treatable also stomach distended for baby. for this doctor told sumtimes baby might have consumed more fluid and it may show like this and suggested for scan repeat after 2 weeks. told since NIPT is negative chances of any issues may be low she told. kindly share ur views and suggestions

A. Usually the NIPT will be able to diagnose if there are any other anomalies. Still you can consult the fetal medicine specialist for a counseling session regarding the other issues that the baby hasWrite Your Answer Here
