I went to a predetcian with my 1.5 month old baby boy. He suggested Rave 3 drops 10 drops once daily and Raviron XT 4 drops twice daily for 1 year..Is it necessary for the baby..

Vitamin D3 supplement is necessary tell complete one year however if your baby is on breastfeeding then you can give him the prescribed medication for some duration but breast milk is complete food and he will be deriving all the nutrients from it

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children5 years agoA. hello there Maam in my opinion your doctor has given the syrup for iron and vitamin deficiency. please trust your doctor and he is the best person to judge the exact conditions of baby. And most of the time doctor suggest these syrups to babies. take care
