Q.

I was blessed with a boy on January 4th. His Biliburin level at discharge on Day 3 was 9.3, Day 5 at 13.7 and Day 6 at 16. He was given Phototherapy for 24 hours and post that levels were down at 9.3 and got discharged again. Now at day 11 it's again at 13.7. Is it a rebound? Kindly advice

A. Usually the levels don’t increase and usually reduce ..if it’s is increasing then most likely it isn’t physiological jaundice.better go and consult your doctor so that they can evaluate further

A. Hello ma’am Please consult your paediatrician ones if needed it could be jaundice once again but without proper check up and ready cannot assure you so I would advise you to consult your doctor and start keeping your child into indirect son for at least half an hour every single morning as it is mostly recommended
