ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist7 years agoA. such commercial baby foods are not required and not recommended at all. many of them are high in sugar have added flavour, they do not inculcate healthy eating behaviours now your child should be having all family foods the way you prepare in your home give a balance diet providing variety of food groups

Chitra lekhaMom of a 8 yr 3 m old child7 years agoA. cerelac is the dry roast form of one whc we give at home.... for eg wheat and apple. ... wheat u get at home and apple wash boil and take the puree mix both and give.... the same sort only the cerelac also contains... we cannot guarantee the qty in those but in home made food the nutrition is locked as u prepare and give it instantly... if ur workin and dont have enough time check the age and the stage mentioned in the pack and can give also ... but if u have enough time home made version is the best

ShireenMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl7 years agoA. if your child is eating home-cooked food, there is absolutely no need to start any commercial products. Please remember these were primarily formulated for comfort and ease just as we have instant porridge, noodles.Try inculcating in her to eat healthy home-cooked food as her taste buds are in developing stage and very soon as time passes your child will be introduced to world of sugar, instant food and all the junk.So honestly no need unless you have time constraints.
