If possible have your husband help because babies are less likely to demand milk if the nursing parent isn’t the one soothing them at night.

First, try to skip just one night feed. When the baby wakes up, try giving water or offer some comfort like a favorite toy or daddy’s presence.
It will take some time, but slowly the baby will understand that milk is not available at night. Also, make sure to feed your baby well before bedtime so that he doesn’t wake up due to hunger.
