Q.

I want to ask,how to increase hemoglobin of a 21 month old,his hemoglobin is low our doctor gave a syrup, whenever we give him he had black stool next morning,I just want to ask how we can increase hemoglobin through food or fruts,and how to give them,plz suggest something. Thank you

A. hi parent continue the medication give diet rich in iron like ragi pomegranate chikki etc also give diet to soften the stool maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output maintain hygiene

A. Hello mom You should just continue giving a medication as advised by the doctor rather than this you can start giving a beetroot and pomegranate regularly to your baby it will help in increasing baby is haemoglobin. Still you baby doesn’t get relief then consult with your paediatrician about it
