Q.
I use candid b cream for sore and cracked nipples. I used to wash nipples before breastfeeding. today accidentally I nursed my baby without washing the cream. is there anything to worry. my baby is 1yr and 10 days old. please help

Dear Mamma, do you have thrush? candid is used only for fungal infections and if it is Thrush then baby would have been prescribed something as well. Why are you having sore nipple at this stage? Please watch nipple flipple technique on YouTube and follow instructions for correcting the latch. Does baby have ties?

DeepanshiMom of a 10 yr 7 m old boy6 years agoA. I don’t think so there will b any problem as you must have applied long before you begin to breastfeed. If he is active so don’t worry. For cracked nipples you can also try nip care , ghee it coconut oil
