I take i-pill last week. But it happens again last night, so Can I take another pill today? #asktheexperts

A. u can take but u need to consult with your gynecologist for detailed history and advice regarding this as it also depends upon your date of last period .. tc

A. I-Pill is used as an emergency contraceptive tablet in the event of unsafe intercourse or failure of contraception, to avoid unintended pregnancy. Within 24-72 hours after having unprotected sex, the emergency contraceptive pill must be taken. It is best to take the pill orally.
