I noticed formula powder contains VitD per 1000mlhqs 8.6 mcg which is 344 IU , ten why do doctors prescribe separate vitD drops of 409IU per day . Is it necessary for formula fed babies or those babies who partially on formula

A. Ye city is bigger is vitamin D is a very important to supplement and I don’t think so it is going to get covered by the formula milk you are giving and if you have any concern regarding this question you can actually cross check your doubt with your doctor to have further clarity
