Q.

I mistakenly gave a paracetamol dose 2.5 ml instead of 1 ml to my 1.3 yr baby. It has been more than 36 hrs now. Do I need to worry? or rush to the hospital immediately. He is playing well but just having a cough. & not eating well

A. a single heavy dose for the child should not cause any major problem. there is a possibility that thex child might have vomiting. it will be single episode and then it should stop. on the side effects part it may not be that much relevant so no need to worry. it is important that in the future you should give proper quantity to the childx in case of medicines
