Q.

I'm not using a traditional cloth cradle for my baby since birth will that affect my baby's head shape? .... My in laws always say to make her sleep inside a cloth cradle to get my baby's head round in shape..... Will the cradle really matter?? She sleeps comfortably in a jhula with net...

A. if you are talking about the jholi kind of cradle then yes Maam even I will agree that babies sleep very well in those. to some extent it also helps in round formation of head. i may not be able to give you a scientific reason for it. but my son slept in it for almost one and half years in the jholi and very comfortably. the other cradles are also fine. but if you have provision to tie a cloth jholi then please do. usually they use cotton sarees to tie it.jyst put a soft blanket folded to retain the shape of a bed.
