Q.

I'm lactating my 7 months old baby. can I take corona vaccine? either covisheld or covaxin is safe for myself and my baby since I'm breastfeeding? please help me understand the risks

A. the final decision has to be taken by you but from my side it is advisable as per the Government of India they are not recommending vaccination for lactating mothers but there are very good number of studies which suggest that lactating mothers can take the vaccination so the end decision will be yours and you can discuss this with your doctor

A. Nope Definitely not because you’re feeding your child right now so just follow the guidelines which government has issued so according to those guidelines as of now you cannot go for this vaccination will have to wait till the time we do not quit breastfeeding
