I’m having itching from last 4-5 months and because of that my urethra gets red and swollen i have visited an gynaecologist she gave me some ointments until the use of it it was ok once i stop it itching started again. Does lubricants can be one of the reason for that and if yes so what can i use instead of that to prevent itching

A. I have already ask the doctors for that everytime she gives me medicines creams to stop itching after the completion of course after sometime it starts again. And during intercourse my husband everytime apply lubricant we have also tried without that but it doesn’t goes well what should I do?

A. Mam first you need to understand why this is happening the medicines of the cream that have been given till the time you apply you are good after that the problem starts so I think it could be associated with an infection it could be yeast infection or something and lubricants are not going to help on a regular basis maybe for the timing you’ll feel better but ultimately once you stop using the problem will happen so better to go ahead with further assessment with the Dr
