I'm having a baby in a few weeks. I want to know what kind of clothes i should be making my baby wear . Cotton jablas or onesies. How often do i keep diapers on the baby? Shud i make him wear a langot and top.

A. Hey mom.. the nappy is a better option because, when the baby urinates the onesies gets wet all over the top. and it is not good for baby.

A. During diaper free times, what's the best clothing? I have been told onesies get messy during diaper free times so the jabla langot is better... But I'm not sure if i shud buy many of those, as I have about 60 + onesies. Bombay has fairly moderate climate, not cold. So cotton I assume till be good with a blanket if need be.

A. Onsies are hands down best option in my opinion. They are hassle free and comfortable. Get the overall onsies with mittens n foot attached. Rather than making the baby wear 4 separate items, its one in all. According to the weather conditions you can opt for fabric. Cotton ones always come handy and if its cold, you can get fleece ones. Also get cotton hats. Babies tend to loose their body heat very quickly hence make sure the body is covered. Dont over dress a baby. Buy muslin swaddles as swaddling is very good for better sleep.

A. Baby's clothing should be according to the weather. Of it's hot , do opt for cotton clothes. The most important thing is that the baby should be comfortable in the clothes. You can use diapers for the baby but you need to change it every 2 hourly and immediately if the baby has passed stools. Keep the baby diaper free for at least half an hour between 2 diapers.
