Q.
i m getting cracks on nipples again n again. i apply castor oil n nip care tube after every feed of baby. but still it is not getting cure. after feed i get pain in breast n after sometimes it gets disappeared on its own. wat should i do???

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician5 years agoA. Rinse the breast after each feeding with water to reduce the risk of infection. Apply a cold pack to numb the injured area before nursing. Cold can help dull the pain. use nip care cream. Rub a small amount of this Soframycin or nip care ointment on your nipples after every feeding.

Shabnam SheikhMom of 2 children5 years agoA. hii..for cracked nipples after breastfeeding express some milk and apply on cracked nipples and allow it to air dry it. do this after every time u breast feed. this will help to heal soon. Avoid feeding from the cracked breast till it gets healed.
