I'm asking this for my friends baby..baby is 20days old. now from 2days small throght irritation..light coughing...can you suggest medication. or home remedy please

A. Dr. Vandan Sir, I have asked for small baby of only 20 days old. can we give ginger Tulsi honey combination? I'm just asking because the baby is only taking mom milk right at this point that's why.

A. you can go for home remedies like tulsi ginger honey combination which can be diluted with water and given frequently to the child. also u can give turmeric with milk one or two times everyday. give warm water to drink as well as nasal saline drops frequently. avoid giving cold water and cold food or ice cream. try to prevent temperature variations around the child that is from hot to cold and cold to hot environment. keep the child well covered. if the palms and soles of the child are cold then the child is feeling cold and you have to take preventive measures to make the child warm meet dr for advice for child
