i m a breastfeeding mother of 8 month old. milk flow is very high for the beginning. problem is i get pain in my breast sometime because it gets so full. and i get high fever which last for a day or so. This fever happened for 3 times now. whats the reason?

A. Apply warm compress on the breast and take paracetamol to reduce fever and manually express some milk and keep feeding your baby well on regular intervals and takecrest inbetwen the feeds

A. The fever is because of breast engorgement. you can breast pump but don't keep the frequency of pumping more, else it'll produce more milk. you can also donate your breastfeed in breastfeeding banks.

A. Hello mom This can be a normal viral fever. And can be because of change in weather. So don’t worry. You can express breast milk by using breast pump when baby is not taking feed it will help to reduce the pain in breast. Stay safe stay home Happy parenting
