I'm 7 months pregnant with my second baby..can i take echo at this stage of pregnancy?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. only if it is actually needed . fetal echocardiogram is not necessary for all the pregnant women. It is recommended by the doctor if: A sibling was born with a congenital heart defect. It's typically done in the second trimester, between weeks 18 to 24. The exam uses sound waves that “echo” off the structures of the fetus's heart.
