Q.
i m 33 weeks pregnant and suffering from fungal infection. My dermatologist has recommended that i can take itraconazole in 8 & 9 th of pregnancy. Please advise if its safe.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. since the treatment of fungal infection is important better to take the treatment since the skin specialist has advised already For further advice it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination if there is need for investigations also then only proper treatment can be given to you o . K .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 4 m old girl4 years agoA. I Cannot advise you anything on this you should consult your gynaecologist who is monitoring you because the gynaecologist has the entire case history of your pregnancy so she is going to be the safest one for you as of now or not
